This 4 day course will provide intense “hands-on” training, dealing with difficult dogs. This course will be held at our facility in Red Deer with a maximum 14 participants, and will give attendees greater ability and confidence in:
- Advanced self defense against single or multiple dog attacks
- How and when to use barriers
- Calming signals, Reading the dog and behavioral management
- Loading and handling injured animals
- Identifying communicable disease and protocol
- How to testify in serious dog bite situations
- Dog bite protocol
- Defense tools and related options
- Environmental safety management
The day is broken into two sessions (morning and afternoon), allowing lunch and coffee breaks. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, and a certificate of completion.
