The day is broken into two sessions (morning and afternoon), and each session will be just over one hour long, allowing lunch and coffee breaks. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, a certificate of completion, and an opportunity to experience some “hands-on” training. This course will give attendees greater ability and confidence in:
- Apprehending and handling stray dogs
- Remaining safe at all times
- Apprehension without undue reliance on extreme measures
- Dealing with the public in high stress situations
- Handling an injured dog assessment and transporting
- Responding/defending a full-fledged dog attack
